Women in STEM: Opportunities and Challenges

We celebrate STEM month by to welcoming two local women scientists who also happen to be mother and daughter.  

Chitra Manohar is at the height of her biologic science career, and Nitya Furtado is just starting out.   They will share their stories about their different opportunities and challenges and will also discuss what they hope for the future of women in science.
